Testimonials

Dear Rowena,

Thanks again for Friday – the kids really loved it (again!) and I had lots of positive feedback from the parents after the children got home. They all thought it was a special birthday, as they very rarely play “proper” games at parties.
I know it was really too many kids and you had to work very hard, but the result was very positive!
Best wishes

This is not an actual testimonial but it is a heart warming opening to an email:-

Dear Rowena
Hi. You hosted a fantastic party 2 years ago for my 2 children (Janak and Janya). I know at that time you didn’t do above 25 children. However, my daughter’s age-mates (to be 5) are now discussing having a class party (i.e. for 30) Part of the e-mail

Dear Rowena,

Thank you for helping make Ben’s third birthday ‘pirate party’ on Saturday 13th August so wonderful. We all had great time. Your involvement was so valuable, especially the consultation so Ben could meet you prior to his party. The age appropriate games were delightful and it was so wonderful to see all the young children so engaged. The ‘treasure hunt party bags’ were a huge success too, so thank you for sourcing those for us. The feedback I got from the adult guests and the children was fantastic. In fact one very hard to please friend of mine said the party was ‘faultless’ so I am sure we will be using you again for future birthdays!

Hi Rowena, I’m glad you enjoyed the card, Robbie is getting better at writing his name. I really want to thank you again for helping us with the party. All the little treasures that you gave to the children are very special. Just last night Robbie was counting his worry dolls, carefully putting them in the little bag and putting one under his pillow. He loves the harmonica and for the first week after the party he was carrying the little red boxes everywhere. He’s been drinking from his mug too which is a big step forward from plastic cups. Thanks again and I hope we can see you again next year!

Dear Rowena,
Just to say thank you once more – Xavi was very, very happy with his birthday and everybody left in a very good mood. See you again.

Dear Rowena
I wanted to write and thank you so much for making Bess’s 5th birthday party so memorable. The children were all mesmerised by you…. one parent this morning described your ability to captivate them and keep them focused as being almost ‘Jedi like’ ;-) They can be a rowdy little bunch so to see them all engaged like that was wonderful. And it was so nice for the parents to get a chance to get to know each other better while the kids had fun playing “What’s the Time Mr Wolf?” Bess has been telling everyone about you and has been carrying her Worry Dolls round her neck all weekend. They have gone to bed with her every night! Gavin and I can’t thank you enough for all that you did, making our job a very easy one indeed. Many thanks again.

Dear Rowena,

I wanted to write and thank you for a lovely party for Lillan on Saturday afternoon. Lillan and her friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and we and other parents are in awe of your ability to create such a fun, calm and festive atmosphere – particularly when some of the children are renowned for being rowdy! The party bags (or party suitcases!) were a tremendous hit, as were some of the traditional games you played with them, which made us very nostalgic. All in all a lovely, carefree afternoon for the parents and a fun, energetic party for our daughter and her friends. All the best, perhaps we will see you in October for Christian’s party?

Rowena,

Thank you for a party to remember. Daniel, me and the guests all said it was lovely.

Dear Rowena,

Just to say a big thank you again for helping to make the party such a calm one – there were many compliments about how well the children were managed by you.
Even Lucas today was playing “What’s the time Mr Wolf?” with his baby brother.
It was a pleasure meeting you. Kindest regards.

Dear Rowena,

Thank you so much for a truly wonderful party. All the parents said what a great job you did‚ the children were so engaged and calm. They are also enjoying playing with their presents (Janya was a pirate this morning).

With best wishes, Clare (Holden) Muswell Hill, May 2010 via e-mail

Hi Rowena
Thank you again for yesterday’s party. The nursery teacher just told me that so many children have come in today full of it, telling all about the games. Two of the boys are wearing their scarves for nursery today! Gidi, in bed last night, said, “I had a lovely birthday party.” Can’t ask for more than that! Uri was upset at home time yesterday because he had put his bag with his wallet inside on the floor near the front door and someone had taken it. Could I ask you to send me a black bag and a wallet for him and I will pay you for these and for the postage. Hope that’s ok.

Yours, Alison May 2009

Thank you for making the party such amazing fun for all the children. Eden and Lauren were so excited they re-lived it for days after and it is firmly established in their precious memory pots. All the parents sang your praises and Mip and I was so impressed by you and what you did on the day. Your little bag must have been a cousin to the tardis – how you produced so much out of it (music, prizes, games, party bags, treats etc) was magical. You really are a special lady and I felt so very lucky to have met you – the “magical memory-maker.” Should you ever require a testimonial, I would be so happy to provide one, or feel free to cut and paste any of this email. Wishing you ever good things for now and the future.

With love, Corah 13 April 2008
